Ruben Martinez
Ruben is the Co-Founder of GlampingHub, the first substantial and transactional glamping booking platform in the U.S. GlampingHub now has over 35,000 listings and are continually growing, with offices in Denver and Sevilla. He completed both his Undergraduate degree and his Masters in Business Administration in International Business at Regis University. Ruben resides in Colorado with his wife and two daughters.

 

Sarah Dusek
Sarah founded adventure hospitality company Under Canvas Inc. alongside husband Jacob Dusek in 2009.  As CEO, Sarah strategically guides the brand while overseeing the development of future camps at some of America’s most beautiful destinations. In 2017, Under Canvas received a spot on the coveted Inc. 5000 list and Sarah was named to the EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women list from Ernst & Young.  In 2018, Sarah co-founded the American Glamping Association with a goal of bringing consumer clarity to the fast-growing industry by providing accreditation to U.S. glamping properties that meet a baseline standard. Sarah’s love for nature inspired her to create a brand that would be a bridge to the outdoors while increasing environmental awareness and encouraging others to embrace intentional inconveniences for the betterment of the planet. Sarah received her masters in Missiology from the University of Manchester, UK. She lives in Bozeman, MT with her husband and two children.

Robert Frisch
Bobby is the co-founder and CEO of Firelight Camps, an experiential hospitality company that develops and manages luxury camping resorts. Prior to Firelight Camps, Bobby and his wife Emma opened, managed, and sold a boutique hostel and restaurant in Nicaragua called “La Buena Onda.”  He holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA ’13 from the Johnson School at Cornell University, where he was a Roy Park Leadership Fellow and ran Cornell’s startup incubator as an ELAB fellow. Robert was a Peace Corps volunteer in Nicaragua, and has provided hospitality consulting services for the National Parks Service, Itza Lodge in Belize, and the luxury tent rental company, Contentment Camping. He lives in Ithaca, NY with his wife Emma and daughters Ayla and Cora.

David Monkman
David is the Director of the Financial Investment Group at the private equity company National Community Development Fund, following more than 15 years of economic development consulting. He has lived and worked in more than 20 countries. His previous work experience includes being CEO for the National Business Incubation Association, the SME Business Support Fund, and AniCap Venture Partners. Before these roles, David worked in trading and portfolio administration of $1 billion for two asset management companies and worked at ‘academy firm’ Bear Stearns assisting in corporate underwritings. David set up or improved programs at US Small Business Administration-like organizations and has been interviewed by media or called upon to be a keynote speaker in more than 10 countries. David has setup two companies from scratch, led teams at three others, and evaluated the feasibility of 11 pilot projects. David earned a Master of Science in Economics (Patterns of Economic Development) through the London School of Economics and possesses a sound understanding of finance and emerging markets and is deeply committed to job creation. David has lived in eight countries and has enjoyed visiting over 40 on five continents. He is inspired by adventurers like entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and impact investors, and is blessed with a South African wife, two children, and a cocker spaniel – all with an appetite to see the whole world glamping-style!

Guillermo Mazier
Guillermo is the Vice President of Global Innovation at Conway, Inc. where he is a global consulting executive and keynote speaker who has had the privilege to teach and work with over 13,200 government, corporate and university leaders. He is also on the Board of Directors for the American Lung Association in Colorado, who is the leading organization working to save lives, improve lung health and prevent lung disease. Guillermo graduated with his Masters of Business Administration in International Business from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. He now resides in Denver with this wife and two children.
