The Blueprint of Change
How Azure Printed Homes is Recognized for Reimagining Outdoor Opportunities
In an industry defined by creativity and connection to nature, few companies are reshaping the glamping and outdoor hospitality landscape quite like Azure Printed Homes. The California-based manufacturer, known for its 3D-printed modular homes made from recycled materials, has recently captured national attention — earning two prestigious honors that underscore its innovation and impact.
Azure Printed Homes was recently recognized in TIME’s Best Inventions List for 2025, for its groundbreaking approach to sustainable construction. The company has also been selected as one of Pepperdine University’s Most Fundable Companies®, a distinction reserved for startups with the strongest fundamentals, growth trajectory, and investor readiness.
These milestones highlight not only Azure’s business success but also a deeper story — one about doing things differently and expanding what’s possible within the glamping industry.
Sustainability Meets Scalability
Founded in 2022, Azure Printed Homes has quickly become a leader in sustainable housing, harnessing proprietary 3D-printing technology to build eco-friendly, durable structures up to 70% faster and 30% more cost-effectively than conventional construction.
“Our technology empowers glamping operators and resort developers to expand faster while staying true to eco-friendly values,” says Gene Eidelman, co-founder of Azure. “We’re proving that sustainability can be both beautiful and profitable.”
Each structure is made from recycled materials, designed for energy efficiency, low maintenance, and long-term durability — qualities that perfectly align with the needs of glamping resorts, RV parks, and eco-retreats across the U.S.
Recognition for Innovation and Impact
Being named to TIME’s Best Inventions of 2025 places Azure alongside the world’s most forward-thinking innovators — a nod to how technology can serve both people and the planet. TIME’s editors cited Azure’s role in advancing sustainability and accessibility in construction, as well as its growing influence in outdoor hospitality.
Meanwhile, Pepperdine’s Most Fundable Companies® award reinforces Azure’s financial strength and readiness to scale. From more than 2,300 applicants nationwide, only 14 were selected for demonstrating standout investor potential and strong business fundamentals.
Azure’s upcoming expansion includes a 25,000 sq. ft. Denver facility opening in March 2026, the addition of 30 new hires, and the continued fulfillment of $40+ million in pre-orders. The company has already delivered over 100 homes to markets including California, Georgia, Arkansas, South Carolina, and Texas, with a goal of producing 2,500 homes per year by 2030.
Building for a More Inclusive Future
Beyond technology and growth, Azure’s story is one of inclusivity and accessibility — showing that innovation can support communities as well as commerce. In addition to luxury glamping sites and resort properties, Azure’s modular homes are increasingly being used in transitional housing developments to address homelessness and disaster recovery, including rebuilding efforts after recent wildfires in California.
As Eidelman puts it, “Winning these awards validates not only our mission but also the fundamentals of our business. Azure is ready to scale and is built to make an impact.”
A New Vision for Glamping
In an industry that thrives on creativity, sustainability, and guest experience, Azure Printed Homes is proving that the structures themselves can be part of the story. Their success is a reminder to the glamping community that innovation doesn’t have to mean compromise — it can mean doing better for people, for the planet, and for business.
Azure Printed Homes is a preferred partner of the American Glamping Association.
