It’s been a busy week in the Glamping world! Whether you were at the Glamping Show USA this year or not, this recap of the conference will take you through some of the week’s most memorable moments!
Sunday: Set-Up Day
Ready, set, BUILD!
Vendors across the glamping space arrived on Sunday morning to begin building out their structures and displays under the blue Colorado sky.
You may have seen some of our AGA members setting up, like HoneyTrek, Tent Masters, Life In Tents, Glitzcamp USA, Secret Creek, Jupe, Plainscraft Covered Wagons, Eco Structures Australia, Global Glamping, Stout Tent, Cedarbound, and Room & Board!

Glamping Investment Connection
We started the Glamping Investment Connection to connect everyone in this unique stage of development with investors who are active with the industry. Operators face unique challenges in launching their businesses - such as permitting, finding off-grid solutions, and legal classifications - which can be confusing and add a level of complexity to operators and capital providers who are newer to the industry and are more familiar with other traditional hospitality ventures.
After months of preparation, our 7 Glamping Investment Connection finalists pitched their projects to a room of capital providers and glamping entrepreneurs. We're looking forward to working with them as they continue to move these unique glamping ventures forward. You can learn more about our finalists and their projects on the AGA blog!
Glamping Business Basics Workshop
Whether you’re in the planning stages of your glamping operation or ready to launch, this session was designed as an overview of those business areas that operators will encounter along their journey.
In this year’s Glamping Business Basics Workshop, we heard from Irene Wood of The Fields, Christine Taylor of The Towne Law Firm, David Smith of Outside Capital, and Reed Raskin and Virgina Gray of Collective Retreats.
AGA Glamping Awards
This year marked the first ever AGA Glamping Awards, presented during the Glamping Business Basics Workshop. We wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the achievements and contributions of our members in their respective areas of the industry, and are looking forward to the awards session becoming an annual event!

The expo and conference - where all the magic happens.
