Longtime AGA member and Britain’s leading dome manufacturer, TruDomes, is making a pitch for the US glamping market with the launch of an American branch!

TruDome’s new US operation includes a headquarters in South Jordan, Utah, and a warehouse Salt Lake City which is stocked with a range of domes ready to ship anywhere in the country. TruDomes has in-house design and manufacturing expertise supplying all-season geodesic domes made from aircraft-grade aluminium.

TruDomes launched its first dome product in 2017, developed with the benefit of over 40 years’ experience in design and manufacturing. Now established as the number one name in the UK, the company has also expanded into continental Europe and sees the US market as a key area of growth over the next decade.

TruDomes CEO & President, Kelda Bassett said:

“The launch of TruDomes’ US presence marks a major milestone in our development as we aim to establish our luxury domes as a global presence. There is enormous potential for us to achieve success in the thriving US market, which is anticipated to expand at a compound annual growth rate of almost 11% from 2022 to 2030. TruDomes have won multiple industry awards in the five years since we launched our first dome, so I am confident that those credentials will help us to develop a client base in the USA.”

TruDomes has played a major role in the increased adoption of geodesic domes for glamping sites in the UK. The company believes that domes offer a unique combination of advantages that makes them an attractive proposition for glamping businesses.

TruDomes Vice President, Louise Stone, said:

“Geodesic domes have become increasingly prominent in the glamping market, representing the latest in luxury design concepts and sustainability. They are warm in winter, cool in summer, and incredibly comfortable all year round, facilitating maximum yield for campsites. Most of our domes are entirely constructed from rust-free and recyclable aluminium frames, providing years of low maintenance profitability. The aluminium construction is also robust but lightweight and easy to set up in remote locations, including mountainous regions such as Andalusia in Spain, which are out of the reach of more traditional and cumbersome glamping structures. That attribute has enabled us to offer a point of difference and facilitate continual growth.”

TruDomes continues to grow with the industry, aiming to provide structures for glamping operators across the globe. Learn more about TruDomes at their website and LinkedIn!
